# Trade Show Lead Kit

The booth loop on paper: a QR that never dies on the counter, three qualifying questions everyone can ask without thinking, a fifteen-minute triage every evening, and a 48-hour follow-up with names on it. For exhibitors who are done with the business-card bowl.

## When to use this kit

- You exhibit more than once a year and the card bowl still dies in a drawer.
- Your booth staff need one play that works for both extroverts and the physically-pained-by-strangers.
- Scanner rentals cost $200–500 per device per event and you have three events and a spreadsheet.

## What is in the folder

| File | Purpose |
|---|---|
| `trade-show-lead-kit-prop-cards.pdf` | Poker-spec print sheet (63.5 × 88.9 mm, bleed + cut guides): master, booth roles, qualifying questions, scan SOP, 48-hour triage, watch-out, backs + blanks |
| `trade-show-lead-kit-run-sheet.pdf` | Print edition: exhibitor guide + post-show review bound as one A4 document |
| `*-Letter.pdf` | US Letter paper size for the print documents in this folder — same content, bookmarks and a linked TOC in every edition |
| `trade-show-lead-kit-guide.md` | Exhibitor guide: the loop, the economics, setup, the day clock, failure modes, variations |
| `trade-show-lead-kit-debrief.md` | Post-show review: four leaks, six questions with targets, failure modes |
| `trade-show-lead-kit-license.md` | License in plain language — what you may do, what you must keep |
| `trade-show-lead-kit-activity-poster.pdf` | The whole loop on one A3 wall sheet: roles, triage, watch-outs |
| `trade-show-lead-kit-start-here.md` | Start here — pick your lane, file map, print list |

## Running it

Before the show: a five-field form, QR tested on the floor network, stands and badges printed. Each morning: a fifteen-minute huddle — one goal in meetings, three roles assigned. During the day: every conversation ends in one scan. Each evening: two humans, fifteen minutes, A/B/C with next actions. Within 48 hours: tiered messages out, A-list called, three numbers logged — scans, A-count, meetings booked.

## Run this activity with an agent

An exhibitor can hand this whole folder to their AI agent. Install first — one command, and the folder any skills loader can pick up:

```bash
# install the whole skill folder, one command
curl -LO https://workshopskill.com/en/activities/trade-show-lead-kit/files/trade-show-lead-kit.zip
unzip trade-show-lead-kit.zip   # -> trade-show-lead-kit/SKILL.md + all files + manifest
```

The zip unpacks to a directory named `trade-show-lead-kit` holding this SKILL.md, every file it references, a manifest.

Individual files, if you only need some — anonymous, CC BY 4.0:

```bash
# 1. Get the printable stand/badge deck (poker deck, CC BY 4.0)
curl -O https://workshopskill.com/en/activities/trade-show-lead-kit/files/trade-show-lead-kit-prop-cards.pdf
# 2. Get the post-show review sheet (four leaks + six questions)
curl -O https://workshopskill.com/en/activities/trade-show-lead-kit/files/trade-show-lead-kit-debrief.md
# 3. Get the exhibitor guide (the loop, the day clock, the failure modes)
curl -O https://workshopskill.com/en/activities/trade-show-lead-kit/files/trade-show-lead-kit-guide.md
```

Everything above runs with no account and no login.

Useful preparation facts for the agent:
- The lead form is five fields max: name, email, company, the one thing, next step.
- Printed QRs must be dynamic (editable after print) or stands get reprinted every show.
- Triage is two people against a written A definition; the collector never grades alone.
- The follow-up clock is 48 hours; messages are drafted during triage, not after.
- The post-show report is three numbers: scans, A-count, meetings booked.

**Where to put the skill.** Drop the unzipped `trade-show-lead-kit/` directory into your agent's skills folder and it loads automatically: Claude Code `~/.claude/skills/trade-show-lead-kit/` (or `.claude/skills/` in the project), OpenAI Codex `~/.codex/skills/trade-show-lead-kit/`, Qoder `~/.qoder/skills/trade-show-lead-kit/`. No skills folder in your agent? Paste this file into the chat and ask the agent to follow it. Per-agent walkthroughs: https://workshopskill.com/en/skill-guides/

## Facilitation notes

- Goals are meetings booked, not cards collected — say it in the huddle, every morning.
- The third qualifying question never varies; the first two can keep each person's words.
- Photograph the empty card bowl on day one; objects argue better than speeches.
- One show is not a trend; run the review within five working days or it becomes archaeology.
