# The Premortem — license & tiers

Plain-language summary of what you can do with this folder. The legal text lives at creativecommons.org; this page says it in human words — plus two paid tiers for people who need more than CC BY.

Everything in Tier 0 is free forever and never becomes paid just because you bought something else. The cards, the poster, and the run sheet all sit in Tier 0.

## Tier 0 — free (CC BY 4.0)

Run it, copy it, translate it, remix it, hand it to your team, use it in a paid workshop. Two strings only:

- Keep the attribution line: "The Premortem · WorkshopSkill · CC BY 4.0."
- Do not imply we endorse you or ran your session.

No account, no email wall, no checkout form anywhere in this folder.

## Tier 1 — one event or one product (paid)

For when CC BY's attribution requirement is a hard blocker — e.g. client legal won't allow a third-party credit on delivered material, or you sell it white-labelled on a marketplace.

- Waives attribution for **one** event or **one** listed product.
- Includes the print masters as delivered (cards at poker spec, poster at A3), plus one round of white-label substitution Q&A.
- One folder, one purchase. Not a licence to redistribute the raw content.

## Tier 2 — organisation (paid)

For teams that want the folder inside an internal library, LMS, or facilitator playbook across many people and events.

- Waives attribution org-wide for internal use.
- Includes the editable print masters and a named contact for version updates.
- Does not cover reselling the folder itself as a product.

## How to ask for a tier

Email `mailto:hello@workshopskill.com` with the folder name (`the-premortem`), the event or organisation, and which tier you want. This page deliberately has no checkout form — everything is doable offline, no account, no tracking, answered by a human.
