# The Listening Ladder — License & Commercial Tiers

> Folder: `the-listening-ladder` · Version 2.0.0 · Baseline license: CC BY 4.0
> The legal text lives at creativecommons.org; this page spells it out in plain language — plus the two paid tiers for people who want more than CC BY gives.

## Tier 0 — CC BY 4.0 (free, always)

Run it, copy it, adapt it, translate it, sell a workshop built on it. The only strings:

- **Keep the attribution line** — "The Listening Ladder · WorkshopSkill · CC BY 4.0" — on any material you distribute.
- **Don't imply endorsement** — you may say you used it; you may not say WorkshopSkill endorses your product.

Nothing that is free under Tier 0 stops being free. The measure spec, the deck, the cards, the poster and the manuals all live under it.

## Tier 1 — single event or listing (paid)

For one engagement where the CC BY attribution requirement is a deal-breaker — a corporate client whose legal team won't approve third-party credit on materials, or a single marketplace listing sold under your brand alone.

- Attribution waived for **one** event or **one** listing.
- Includes the print masters as delivered (cards at poker spec, poster at A3) plus one round of help with the white-label swaps.
- One folder, one purchase. Not a licence to redistribute the source.

## Tier 2 — organisation buy-out (paid)

For a training org or L&D team that wants the folder as owned internal material.

- Attribution waived across the organisation, perpetual, no seat count, no renewal.
- Covers a co-branded or fully white-labelled edition for internal delivery only — not resale of the source as a standalone product.

## How to request a tier

Email `mailto:hello@workshopskill.com` with the folder name (`the-listening-ladder`), the event or org, and which tier. There is no checkout form on this page by design — everything here works offline, with no account and no tracker; a person replies.

The free version at `https://workshopskill.com/en/activities/the-listening-ladder/` is complete on its own. The tiers only change attribution and packaging rights, never the substance of the activity.
