# The Energy Audit — start here

One page, thirty seconds, then print and run.

**What this is:** a 15-minute, solo-or-pair self-assessment tool. List the recurring things you actually do in a normal week, mark each + (gives energy) / − (drains) / = (neutral), find the biggest drain you keep choosing and the biggest + you keep skipping, and commit one dated swap. Not time management — an audit of what your time costs and returns. No account, no projector. 1 person · 15 minutes · offline + online.

## Pick a route

- **Just run it (5 min):** write your recurring week, mark +/−/= fast, circle the biggest chosen − and the biggest starved +, commit one swap with a date.
- **Weekly pulse:** each week just re-mark and re-spot; watch whether one − finally moves.
- **Before a role change:** audit the current week honestly first — you can't design the next one until you've seen what this costs.

## Set the room

Solo at a desk, or a pair each running their own. Cards in hand, sticky notes for the list. Optional: put `the-energy-audit-activity-poster.pdf` on the wall so "honest, not impressive" stays visible. Nothing needs a projector, and nothing needs an account to download.

## Print checklist

- Sign + prompt cards: poker spec, one sheet per person.
- Poster: A3, one per room (optional, but it keeps the rules honest).
- Run sheet: A4 (or Letter), one per facilitator.
